  • A generic behind-the-scenes look into church leadership
  • Why Christ refers to the membership as sheep
    • Similarities between sheep and personalities in the body
    • Leadership approaches that can be effective with different personalities
    • Trying to assist those that have gone astray
    • The reality of wolves; identifying/protecting against them
  • Preparing yourself to be a leader – formal or informal
    • The importance and roles of informal leaders
  • Tools leaders need to develop to be effective
  • Encouraging individual spiritual growth and development in those sheep that are willing.
  • Working with peripheral, detached, or observational sheep
  • A nonspecific discussion of problems that have come up in the body at-large and what we can learn from them.
  • Setting personal preferences aside for the benefit of the body
    • Learning to read the body and its needs
    • Becoming more Christ-centered and less self-centered, i.e. self sacrificing
    • The importance of leaders exhibiting the fruit of the spirit
  • Promoting unity in the body without compromising the truth
  • Challenges facing our leadership today
